Diversität wird zum Innovationstreiber der Stadtentwicklung. Kreativität & Teilhabewurden lange fragmentiert betrachtet. Der innerstädtische Experimentierraum Living Care Lab übernahm ab 2020 die Funktion eines Innovationsstellwerks. Daraus erwuchs der städtische Prozess Stadthagen. Gesunde Stadt. Für alle.
Der Initiative liegen Überlegungen der community health-Bewegung zugrunde. Sie integriert städtische Themen- und Lebenswelten wie Medizin, Umwelt, Mobilität, kulturelle Vielfalt oder Handel. Ein räumlicher Fokus wird auf das Altstadtquartier gesetzt. Die o.g. Entwicklungen haben in kurzer Zeit zur engen Vernetzung städtischer Akteure unter dem Claim Stadthagen – Stadt der Vielfalt geführt. Sechs Initiativen bzw. Vereine (Stadthagen. Gesunde Stadt. Für alle./Living Care Lab SHG/Stadtmarketing Stadthagen/Kulturnetzwerk Stadthagen/Integrationsbeirat & Friends/Innenstadtentwicklungsprozess ReNEWsance) haben ihr gemeinsames Handeln zu Gunsten der Stadt erstmals erfolgreich auf der SHG Regionalschau nach außen getragen.
Neben der Dynamisierung analoger Welten wird zudem an der digitalen Abbildung der Stadtgesellschaft gearbeitet. Seit Ende 2022 existiert die Stadt-App Stadt.Punkt. Um das Ziel der digitalen Teilhabe zu fördern, beschäftigt die Verwaltung seit Kurzem eine eigene Community-Managerin. Die bevorstehenden LINGA-Wochen & ein Innenstadtentwicklungsfonds werden zusätzlich dazu beitragen, wertvolle Impulse für die nachhaltige, inklusive Stadtentwicklung zu setzen.

Diversity becomes a driving force for urban development. Creativity and participation have long been considered in fragmented ways. The urban experimental space, Living Care Lab, took on the role of an innovation control center from 2020 onwards. This led to the urban process called "Stadthagen. Gesunde Stadt. Für alle." (Stadthagen. Healthy City. For all.)
The initiative is based on considerations of the community health movement, integrating urban topics and living environments such as medicine, environment, mobility, cultural diversity, and commerce. The focus is placed on the historic district. These developments have quickly led to a close networking of urban actors under the slogan "Stadthagen - City of Diversity." Six initiatives or associations (Stadthagen. Gesunde Stadt. Für alle./Living Care Lab SHG/Stadtmarketing Stadthagen/Kulturnetzwerk Stadthagen/Integrationsbeirat & Friends/Innenstadtentwicklungsprozess ReNEWsance) have successfully presented their joint actions in favor of the city for the first time at the SHG Regionalschau.
In addition to revitalizing analog worlds, efforts are also being made to digitally represent the urban society. Since the end of 2022, the city app "Stadt.Punkt" has been in existence. To promote the goal of digital participation, the administration recently hired its own community manager. The upcoming LINGA weeks and an inner-city development fund will additionally contribute to providing valuable impulses for sustainable and inclusive urban development.
